Scheduling Process
Find your scheduling information here!
STEP 1:
Get Informed!
Check out the school's scheduling website to find out information about a variety of courses.
Take a look at the Education Planning Guide.
Think about the courses you are interested in taking and make sure that you have met the pre-requisites for those courses.
Talk to your teachers to help determine what are some of the next classes you should be taking. (This is particularly important for math!)
STEP 2:
You will log in to PowerSchool in order to request your courses for next year.
Check that you have at least 8 credits worth of space chosen. Make sure you are taking care of your required credits. There are descriptors in each area. If you have any questions, please reach out to your school counselor:
Evans - A-D
Gray - E-K
Pruss - L-Rh
Wiegand - Ri-Z
STEP 3:
Please take time to look at all the applications listed below and complete any and all that apply prior to meeting with your counselor. This will help to make the scheduling process a much smoother one.
AP Agreement - if you plan to take one or more AP courses, please complete this agreement.
Senior Waiver/ Dual Enrollment - (for juniors and seniors only):
- Review Dual Enrollment & Senior Waiver Procedures
- Complete the application (be sure to initial and sign in all the spaces provided)
- Complete the Conset to Release Records
- Complete the Registration Form
- Apply to Cecil College
Senior Option (for seniors only) - Submit the Senior Option form signed by a parent.
Early Graduation - (for sophomores going into their junior year only) - First you must download the Early Graduation application. Then meet with your counselor as soon as possible.
